Why should I become a fee-paying member?
DCBF is the only non-denominational, Christian business fellowship for men and women, in the Poole/Bournemouth area. It presents a unique opportunity to meet with other Christian business managers and owners for networking, fellowship and other opportunities to explore and discuss the ethical issues that often face Christians in the business world of today.
By becoming a fee-paying member you will be supporting the group by helping to cover the running costs. DCBF is a not-for-profit group run entirely by volunteers, but we still have to cover the costs of venues, refreshments, insurance etc. The group made a loss of nearly £500 last year so clearly we have to do something to ensure the groups long term future.
What are the benefits of becoming a fee-paying member?
- One off membership fee of £75 – saves hassle of bringing cash along each time.
- All meetings free of charge (except for Christmas meal)
- Invoice given for tax purposes. Receipts will only be given out on annual memberships.
- Advertise your business on the DCBF website with details and logo.
- Supports your favourite local Christian Business Fellowship and shows your commitment to the group
- Free book as a thankyou gift
We are anxious not to preclude anyone from attending meetings because of financial reasons, especially in the current economic climate, so in good faith and if you genuinely cannot afford to pay the full membership fee of £75, you are still welcome to attend meetings and pay an attendance-only fee until such time as you feel able to do so.
It will not be possible to hand out receipts for these types of payment and a donation of not less than £5 is suggested.
